YILA/YAC Program Goals 2009-2010
Program Goals 2009-2010
o Program Goal 1: Prepare youth with skills needed to continue their growth as our future leaders.
o Program Goal 2; Motivate Peer-to-Peer leadership in middle/high school youth
o Program Goal 3: Develop a better understanding of their individual and group roles as potential community leaders.
o Program Goal 4: Develop the desire and opportunities to represent their community
o Program Goal 5: Motivate a continued representation as Youth Leaders in their community .
These goals will be directed to our selected youth by way of the University of Georgia Fanning Institute - Youth Leadership In Action: A Community Focus Program, proven activities as directed by Meriwether County School System, Twin Cedars, community involvement and by the “Youth Leadership In Action” adult advisor and volunteers.
